CVSS v3.1 |
Frappe Builder before 1.36.1 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability in builder/api.py where the assert_not_private_url() guard validates only the initial hostname before callers invoke requests.get(url) with default redirect-following and no IP pinning, allowing an attacker-supplied public URL to HTTP-redirect to internal or link-local addresses the guard never validated. An authenticated attacker can call the convert_to_webp endpoint, which lacks a permission decorator, with a URL that redirects to internal targets such as cloud metadata services to perform SSRF, internal port scanning, or trigger a request-hang denial of service due to the missing timeout.
Frappe CRM app before 1.89.1 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated low-privileged users to read CRM Lead records they are not permitted to access by querying the get_contact_by_phone_number API, which performs raw database queries without invoking the permission system. Attackers can supply a known phone number to the crm.integrations.api.get_contact_by_phone_number endpoint to retrieve full lead details otherwise blocked by standard API and UI access controls, resulting in unauthorized disclosure of sensitive CRM data.
Frappe Builder versions 1.33.0 before1.36.0 contain a missing authorization vulnerability in the improve_prompt endpoint that allows any authenticated non-Guest session to invoke LLM completions without proper permission checks. Attackers can call the improve_prompt API to leverage the site owner's stored OpenRouter API key via resolve_api_key, consuming paid LLM credits and effectively turning the site into a free LLM proxy.
Frappe Builder versions before 1.36.1 contain a server-side request forgery vulnerability in the convert_to_webp API endpoint, which lacks the has_page_write access control applied to similar asset-ingest handlers and performs an unprotected requests.get call that follows redirects without re-validating resolved IP addresses. A low-privilege authenticated user can supply an image_url pointing to an internal address or use DNS rebinding and open redirects to make the server fetch internal network resources or cloud metadata endpoints, with successful image responses saved to a world-readable /files/ URL enabling data exfiltration or blind probing of internal hosts.
Frappe Framework before 16.33.0 contains a blind SQL injection vulnerability in the frappe.desk.doctype.event.event.get_events method, which fails to properly neutralize user-supplied input before including it in SQL queries. Authenticated attackers can send crafted input to get_events and infer query results from application behavior to extract sensitive database information.
ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to 15.118.0 and 16.27.0, certain endpoints in the Sales Person-wise Transaction Summary report fail to enforce proper authorization checks. When a role-limited authenticated user requests the affected financial report, the query can query financial transaction rows without applying the requesting user's document permission match conditions. This allows the user to read financial data beyond the user's permitted role. This issue is fixed in versions 15.118.0 and 16.27.0.
Frappe CRM before 1.81.2 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated Sales Users to access other users' CRM Notification records due to absent permission hooks. Attackers can query frappe.client endpoints filtering on to_user or call mark_as_read with another user argument to read, mark read, or delete others' notifications.
Frappe CRM before 1.74.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated Sales Users to modify other users' call logs by supplying arbitrary call_sid values. Attackers can call the add_note_to_call_log and add_task_to_call_log endpoints to attach attacker-written notes and tasks that appear on victims' call logs, leads, and deals.
Frappe Helpdesk before 1.26.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows authenticated portal users to create tickets impersonating other customers by supplying a raised_by value. Attackers can call the hd_ticket.api.new endpoint with a victim's email to plant phishing tickets in their portal and read their replies via get_ticket_activities.
Frappe HR is an open-source human resources management solution (HRMS). Prior to 15.58.3 and 16.4.3, HRMS PWA API endpoints for employee data do not consistently authorize employee-specific PWA API requests. An authenticated user requests records associated with another employee. The user can request records associated with another employee through PWA API endpoints. Successful exploitation can access sensitive HR data belonging to other employees. This issue is fixed in versions 15.58.3 and 16.4.3.
ERPNext is a free and open source Enterprise Resource Planning tool. Prior to 15.121.0 and 16.34.0, certain endpoints for status modification fail to enforce proper authorization checks. A low-privileged authenticated user can invoke state-changing whitelisted methods without required write, submit, cancel, document, or role checks. This allows the user to modify data beyond the user's permitted role. This issue is fixed in versions 15.121.0 and 16.34.0.
Frappe Suite before commit 2697564a9c46da6acc614743eaf9915fe5238f4f contains a broken access control vulnerability in the get_mailboxes and get_quota APIs that allows authenticated mail users to access other users' data. Attackers can supply another user's JMAP account ID to read mailbox names, message counts, automation rules with sender addresses, and storage quota usage.
Frappe ERPNext before 15.110.0 and 16.x before 16.21.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability caused by record names being rendered without escaping. Attackers with write access to item master data can store malicious script in a record name that executes in the browser of any operator who opens the affected page.
Frappe ERPNext before 15.108.0 and 16.x before 16.18.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in certain endpoints that fail to enforce proper permission checks. Authenticated low-privileged users can call these endpoints to deactivate master records, modifying data beyond their permitted role.
Frappe ERPNext before 15.112.0 and 16.x before 16.23.0 has certain endpoints that do not enforce proper authorization checks on operations that modify production records. An authenticated low-privileged user can send requests to these endpoints to modify production data beyond what their assigned role permits.
Frappe ERPNext before 15.115.0 and 16.x before 16.26.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in certain endpoints that fail to enforce proper role-based authorization checks. Authenticated low-privileged users can send requests to these endpoints to modify inventory records beyond their permitted role.
Frappe ERPNext before 15.112.0 and 16.x before 16.23.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in certain endpoints that fail to enforce proper authorization checks. Authenticated low-privileged users can send requests to these endpoints to read personal data beyond what their assigned role permits.
Frappe ERPNext before 15.119.0 and 16.x before 16.31.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in certain endpoints that fail to enforce proper permission checks. Authenticated attackers can send requests to these endpoints to create records and modify data beyond their permitted role, bypassing intended role-based access restrictions.
Frappe ERPNext before 15.105.0 and 16.x before 16.15.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in certain document creation endpoints that fail to verify that the requesting portal user belongs to the target party. Authenticated portal users can send requests to these endpoints to create documents on behalf of parties other than their own.
Frappe ERPNext before 15.121.0 and 16.x before 16.34.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in which certain endpoints fail to enforce proper permission checks. Authenticated attackers can call these endpoints to read data beyond what their assigned role permits.
