CVSS v3.1 |
| Wondershare MirrorGo 2.0.11.346 contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability due to incorrect file permissions on executable files. Unprivileged local users can replace the ElevationService.exe with a malicious file to execute arbitrary code with LocalSystem privileges. |
| Freedombox before 25.17.1 does not set proper permissions for the backups-data directory, allowing the reading of dump files of databases. |
| aiomysql is a library for accessing a MySQL database from the asyncio. Prior to version 0.3.0, the client-side settings are not checked before sending local files to MySQL server, which allows obtaining arbitrary files from the client using a rogue server. It is possible to create a rogue MySQL server that emulates authorization, ignores client flags and requests arbitrary files from the client by sending a LOAD_LOCAL instruction packet. This issue has been patched in version 0.3.0. |
| Mockoon provides way to design and run mock APIs. Prior to version 9.2.0, a mock API configuration for static file serving follows the same approach presented in the documentation page, where the server filename is generated via templating features from user input is vulnerable to Path Traversal and LFI, allowing an attacker to get any file in the mock server filesystem.
The issue may be particularly relevant in cloud hosted server instances. Version 9.2.0 fixes the issue. |
| Sangfor aTrust through 2.4.10 allows users to modify the ExecStartPre command. |
| Cognex In-Sight Explorer and In-Sight Camera Firmware expose
a telnet-based service on port 23 to allow management operations such as
firmware upgrades and device reboots, which require authentication. A
user with protected privileges can successfully invoke the
SetSystemConfig functionality to modify relevant device properties (such
as network settings), contradicting the security model proposed in the
user manual. |
| Git is a fast, scalable, distributed revision control system with an unusually rich command set that provides both high-level operations and full access to internals. When cloning a repository Git knows to optionally fetch a bundle advertised by the remote server, which allows the server-side to offload parts of the clone to a CDN. The Git client does not perform sufficient validation of the advertised bundles, which allows the remote side to perform protocol injection. This protocol injection can cause the client to write the fetched bundle to a location controlled by the adversary. The fetched content is fully controlled by the server, which can in the worst case lead to arbitrary code execution. The use of bundle URIs is not enabled by default and can be controlled by the bundle.heuristic config option. Some cases of the vulnerability require that the adversary is in control of where a repository will be cloned to. This either requires social engineering or a recursive clone with submodules. These cases can thus be avoided by disabling recursive clones. This vulnerability is fixed in v2.43.7, v2.44.4, v2.45.4, v2.46.4, v2.47.3, v2.48.2, v2.49.1, and v2.50.1. |
| For a short time they PTY is set to mode 666, allowing any user on the system to connect to the screen session. |
| LabVantage before LV 8.8.0.13 HF6 allows local file inclusion. Authenticated users can retrieve arbitrary files from the environment via the objectname request parameter. |
| A low-privileged remote attacker could gain unauthorized access to critical resources, such as firmware and certificates, due to improper permission handling during the runtime of services (e.g., FTP/SFTP). This access could allow the attacker to escalate privileges and modify firmware. |
| A vulnerability exists in certain Dahua embedded products. Third-party malicious attacker with obtained normal user credentials could exploit the vulnerability to access certain data which are restricted to admin privileges, such as system-sensitive files through specific HTTP request. This may cause tampering with admin password, leading to privilege escalation. Systems with only admin account are not affected. |
| Local privilege escalation due to insecure folder permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (Windows) before build 39904, Acronis Cyber Protect 16 (Windows) before build 39938. |
| Dependency-Track is a component analysis platform that allows organizations to identify and reduce risk in the software supply chain. Dependency-Track allows users with the `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission to customize notification templates. Templates are evaluated using the Pebble template engine. Pebble supports an `include` tag, which allows template authors to include the content of arbitrary files upon evaluation. Prior to version 4.12.6, users of Dependency-Track with the `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission can abuse the `include` tag by crafting notification templates that `include` sensitive local files, such as `/etc/passwd` or `/proc/1/environ`. By configuring such a template for a notification rule (aka "Alert"), and having it send notifications to a destination controlled by the actor, sensitive information may be leaked. The issue has been fixed in Dependency-Track 4.12.6. In fixed versions, the `include` tag can no longer be used. Usage of the tag will cause template evaluation to fail. As a workaround, avoid assigning the `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission to untrusted users. The `SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION` permission per default is only granted to members of the `Administrators` team. Assigning this permission to non-administrative users or teams is a security risk in itself, and highly discouraged. |
| Nokia SR OS routers allow read-write access to the entire file system via SFTP or SCP for users configured with "access console." Consequently, a low privilege authenticated user with "access console" can read or replace the router configuration file as well as other files stored in the Compact Flash or SD card without using CLI commands. This type of attack can lead to a compromise or denial of service of the router after the system is rebooted. |
| A vulnerability in the Intermediate System-to-Intermediate System (IS-IS) feature of Cisco NX-OS Software for Cisco Nexus 3000 Series Switches and Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches in standalone NX-OS mode could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause the IS-IS process to unexpectedly restart, which could cause an affected device to reload.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation when parsing an ingress IS-IS packet. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted IS-IS packet to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the unexpected restart of the IS-IS process, which could cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
Note: The IS-IS protocol is a routing protocol. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker must be Layer 2-adjacent to the affected device. |
| NVIDIA vGPU software contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager that allows a user of the guest OS to access global resources. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to information disclosure, data tampering, and escalation of privileges. |
| An Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in the file system used in B&R APROL <4.4-01 may allow an authenticated local attacker to read and alter the configuration of another engineering or runtime user. |
| An External Control of File Name or Path vulnerability in the APROL Web Portal used in B&R APROL <4.4-005P may allow an authenticated network-based attacker to access data from the file system. |
| Rapid7 Velociraptor MSI Installer versions below 0.73.3 suffer from a vulnerability whereby it creates the installation directory with WRITE_DACL permission to the BUILTIN\\Users group. This allows local users who are not administrators to grant themselves the Full Control permission on Velociraptor's files. By modifying Velociraptor's files, local users can subvert the binary and cause the Velociraptor service to execute arbitrary code as the SYSTEM user, or to replace the Velociraptor binary completely. This issue is fixed in version 0.73.3. |
| An authenticated attacker can use this vulnerability to perform a privilege escalation to gain root access. |
