CVSS v3.1 |
| In `github.com/eclipse-keypont/crypto11/v2` versions `>= 2.0.0-rc3, <= 2.0.0-rc8`, the ML-KEM key-pair lookup functions (`FindMLKEMKeyPair`, `FindMLKEMKeyPairs`, `FindMLKEMKeyPairsWithAttributes`) locate the public half of an ML-KEM key pair by `CKA_ID`/`CKA_LABEL` and never verify it against the private key. In addition, the "ID only" fallback search runs even when the private key has no `CKA_ID`, so the search template reduces to the public-key class and the ML-KEM key type and the first ML-KEM public key on the token is returned. `Encapsulate()` on the resulting key pair encrypts the fresh shared secret to that key, so its owner — not the holder of the private key the caller looked up — can recover the secret. An attacker who can open an unauthenticated session on the token and plant a public `CKK_ML_KEM` object carrying the victim's `CKA_ID`/`CKA_LABEL` receives the shared secrets for encapsulations performed through the substituted key pair, compromising the confidentiality of those secrets and of everything protected by keys derived from them. The v1 module paths have no ML-KEM support and are not affected. |
| The push endpoint of a Vaadin application that uses server push reflects the request Origin into the Access-Control-Allow-Origin response header and allows credentials, because Flow configures Atmosphere with DROP_ACCESS_CONTROL_ALLOW_ORIGIN_HEADER set to false and its CorsInterceptor then echoes whatever Origin the request carries. A page on any origin can therefore make a cross origin request to that endpoint with the user's cookies and read the response, although reading anything useful also requires the push identifier of that session. Applications that do not use @Push are not affected, and neither is the WebSocket transport. The behaviour was introduced in January 2015 and is present in every Flow release and in Vaadin Framework from 7.1.0, which is when push was added.
Users of affected versions should apply the following mitigation or upgrade. Releases that have fixed this issue include:

| The Eupago Gateway For Woocommerce WordPress plugin from 4.5.0 through 4.7.5 does not verify the authenticity of incoming payment-confirmation webhook requests in some configurations, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a payment confirmation and mark a pending order as paid without paying for it. |
| A manipulated document opened in Apache OpenOffice 4.1.16 or earlier may allow substituted content to be displayed manipulating the user. Such documents are corrupt and should not be opened.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.1.17, which fixes this issue. |
| VLC for Android before 3.7.2 contains a confused-deputy file overwrite vulnerability in FileUtils.getUri() that trusts content URIs based only on the com.fsck.k9.attachmentprovider or gmail-ls authority. A co-installed app without permissions can declare these authorities and send a crafted VIEW intent to the exported StartActivity, making VLC write attacker-chosen content under an attacker-chosen name in the shared Download directory, overwriting other apps' files when VLC holds All files access. |
| The CryptoCloud WordPress plugin from 3.0.0 through 3.0.1 does not verify the authenticity of the payment notifications received by its gateway callback, as the integrity check is skipped while the webhook secret is left at its empty default, allowing unauthenticated attackers to mark arbitrary orders as paid or failed without any payment being made. |
| Origin Validation Error Vulnerability in HiRDB.

| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used certificate.verify(child), _verifySignature(), lib/x509.js to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge selected RSA padding and RSASSA-PSS parameters from the issuer certificate rather than the child certificate being verified. A child labeled as RSASSA-PSS could therefore be accepted with a PKCS#1 v1.5 signature when the issuer used PKCS#1 v1.5. The signature still had to be produced with the trusted issuer's private key, so this did not permit certificate identity forgery, but it could bypass policies that require a declared signature scheme. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. |
| Insufficient verification of data authenticity in Variations in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed an adjacent attacker to bypass system access restrictions via crafted network traffic. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| In Eclipse ThreadX versions 6.0.1 through 6.5.2.202603, the Module Manager loaders take a module image without its length and trust the sizes and offsets in its preamble. A crafted module image can declare a code size larger than the image to read, or gain access to, the memory that follows it, and can place its entry points outside its code. |
| @better-auth/expo before 1.7.16 allows certain account-takeover outcomes (e.g., unauthenticated changes of any account's email address), because it signs a caller-supplied state value without checking whether that value had been issued by the server. NOTE: the application secret must be rotated after updating to a fixed version. |
| CGI versions before 5.00 for Perl trust the client X-Forwarded-Host header in url, self_url, virtual_host and virtual_port.
These take the host name and port from the X-Forwarded-Host request header when present, and otherwise from Host, without validating either. The URLs from url and self_url are the default redirect location and the start_html(-base=>1) base href, and the default start_form action when REQUEST_URI is not set.
A client can poison shared caches, and URLs the application stores or sends, with redirects, links and scripts that point at a host it controls. |
| Origin validation error in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Improper signature verification in Loader in Google Chrome prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) |
| Emerson Ovation
was found to have no authentication of firmware signing and relies on an insecure checksum for integrity. This could allow an attacker to push malicious firmware images, cause a denial-of-service condition, or achieve remote code execution. |
| CKAN MCP Server is a tool for querying CKAN open data portals. Prior to 0.4.112, the DataStore table UI in src/resources/datastore-table-ui.ts accepts window message events without validating event.origin and sends JSON-RPC messages through postMessage with a wildcard target origin. A frame that can reach the embedded document can inject fabricated fields or records, spoof pending ui/initialize responses, disrupt the MCP UI handshake, or receive outbound messages when the resource is embedded by an untrusted parent. Values are HTML escaped, so the demonstrated content injection is display spoofing rather than script execution, and exploitability depends on the host embedding model. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.112. |
| Fiber is an Express inspired web framework written in Go. From 2.52.1 until 2.52.3, the CORS middleware's validateDomain wildcard matcher in middleware/cors/utils.go strips the scheme and checks only a host suffix without requiring a dot boundary. An application configured with a wildcard-subdomain AllowOrigins value and AllowCredentials enabled can reflect an unrelated attacker-controlled origin whose host merely ends with the configured base domain. A user who visits that origin can expose authenticated cross-origin responses to the attacker's page; empty-label origins and later comma-space parsing hardening are outside this advisory. This issue is fixed in version 2.52.3. |
| An XML signature wrapping vulnerability was present in GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) when using SAML authentication with specific identity providers utilizing publicly exposed signed federation metadata XML. This vulnerability allowed an attacker with direct network access to GitHub Enterprise Server to forge a SAML response to provision and/or gain access to a user with site administrator privileges. Exploitation of this vulnerability would allow unauthorized access to the instance without requiring prior authentication. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.14 and was fixed in versions 3.13.3, 3.12.8, 3.11.14, and 3.10.16. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Qihoo 360 D621-2, D603-2, D600-2, D619, D606-6 and D706 up to 6.4.9. Affected by this issue is the function verify_sign of the file fs2/bin/iscm of the component Firmware Signature Verification. Such manipulation of the argument sign leads to improper verification of cryptographic signature. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| The Ruby SAML library is for implementing the client side of a SAML authorization. Ruby-SAML in <= 12.2 and 1.13.0 <= 1.16.0 does not properly verify the signature of the SAML Response. An unauthenticated attacker with access to any signed saml document (by the IdP) can thus forge a SAML Response/Assertion with arbitrary contents. This would allow the attacker to log in as arbitrary user within the vulnerable system. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.17.0 and 1.12.3. |
